Just when many of us began ramping up travel over the last couple of months, the Delta variant seemingly presents another obstacle. We are considering travel opportunities carefully ourselves and offering similar advice to our clients. And yet, we would be remiss if we did not share some of the wonderful feedback coming from those traveling domestically and abroad. For those willing and able to venture out, there are some amazing opportunities happening right now.
|“Wild jungle adventure… Boss got the monster, chubby thing could barely get out of the water, and it tried multiple times, got it on tape. Twin brother had one on equally as big, snapped the fly line. The 7-year guide/manager said that was the furthest he had ever gone, be fun to go further. Thanks it was an awesome experience.”||“It felt good to be back in the sky again after many long months of not traveling. We had a very good trip to and from Alaska last week and do not hesitate to get back on a plane this week for Montana. Everyone wore masks in the airports and was respectful of others. There were no problems at all.”|
|“We had a fabulous trip. We fished with a different guide everyday and they were all awesome. The food was superb also… Katmai was awesome, although a bit challenging to fish, but I got some great bear pics on Brooks Falls... All in all, it was one of my best trips ever!”||
“We had a great trip! Bear trail Lodge was great with good fishing, great food and lots of bears! I got some great bear pics over in Katmai National Park. The trip to Denali was great as well… Thanks for your help and for making it a memorable vacation!”
|“We just got back from Bahia Honda and had a great time fishing with Gordon and his exceptional crew… thanks for a great trip.”|
We are working very closely with our lodges and outfitters to ensure appropriate precautions and measures are in place to make travel as safe as possible in the near term. Looking forward, we continue to recommend planning your adventures further in advance. There is a cold reality to the limited availability and heightened demand at many of our destinations. It would be wise to start booking 2022, and at some lodges even 2023, trips very soon.
In many ways, these are trying and unprecedented times. If you could use some assistance in navigating the challenges of travel right now, please do not hesitate to reach out to our destination specialists. Our fifty-plus years in this industry have positioned us well to navigate such challenges. We are incredibly grateful for the strength and quality of our network of lodges and outfitters. Most of all, we are thankful for the opportunity to share our passion and experience in world-class fishing, shooting, and travel with each of you.
