Caribbean

We are blessed to have the Caribbean Sea on the doorstep of North America. Dotted with islands, each of which has its own distinct “personality,” we are spoiled for choice with great travel options. White sand beaches, clear turquoise waters, reefs that beckon underwater exploration, colorful local culture, and world-class resorts—the Caribbean has it all! Whether you are snowbirds looking for a winter getaway, an engaged couple planning a much-anticipated honeymoon, or a multi-generation family seeking a holiday, we have endless great ideas for your next beach holiday!

Indian Ocean

The third-largest of the world’s oceanic divisions, the Indian Ocean hosts some of the world’s most luxurious and exotic resort properties. Known as the world’s lowest-lying nation, the Maldives rises barely four-feet above sea level! A scuba diver and snorkeler’s paradise, the Maldives is filled with vibrant marine life to discover—enjoy a scuba diving or snorkeling safari, swim with the whale sharks, or take in the views as your dine underwater in the world’s first all-glass undersea restaurant. Go island-hopping—the Maldives offers plenty of untouched islands perfect for exploration and a private and romantic picnic on the beach tailored to your tastes! If you’re searching for an even more secluded seaside escape, retreat to Seychelles. Home to a fascinating varied forest landscape while also seaside, Seychelles is full of opportunities for adventure. Hike through the forests, paddle your way through endless waves, or visit North Island’s Environment Centre and meet with resident conservationists to learn about their mission and get your hands dirty and plant an indigenous tree on the island. Continue your exploration on a boat excursion to nearby Praslin to learn about its rich history from the days of pirates and the spice trade. Or enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and lounge at the beach. With plenty of ways to immerse yourself, the Indian Ocean is rich in experiences, marine life, and pure pampered luxury.

South East Asia

Home to some of the most photogenic beaches in the world, and some of the top resort hotels, South East Asia is nothing short of spectacular. Ideal for those seeking adventure, a romantic getaway, relaxation, and self-discovery, the countries of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia offer seaside escapes worthy of your bucket list. No matter how many times we visit, we find ourselves instantaneously wanting to return. From the white sand beaches with azure waters dotted with limestone karst formations, to the spicy green curries to sample along the way, we know when you go to Southeast Asia you will leave rested and rejuvenated. Consider a few days of “R&R” in this part of the world as an add-on to a cultural itinerary or as a stand-alone beach holiday.

South Pacific

The very words “South Pacific” conjure up images of the quintessential beach holiday, whether that is diving on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, enjoying your own private island in Fiji, or luxuriating in your overwater bungalow on Bora Bora. Whether this is a stand-alone trip for indulgent relaxation, a stopover en route to a distant destination, or part of a longer cultural itinerary, do take time to enjoy the turquoise waters of the South Pacific. In addition to the iconic destinations noted above, don’t forget about Australia’s Kangaroo Island—a mini-Galápagos of sorts noted for its unique species of wildlife—and the beautiful island of Tasmania which, has stunning walks and hikes.

Europe

What Europe’s beaches may lack in expansive white sand, they more than make up for in glamour and panache. Destinations like St. Tropez, Cap Ferrat, Portofino, the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Costa del Sol, Sveti Stefan, Mykonos and Santorini (to name a few) are synonymous with “jet set” sophistication and elegance. Iconic hotels, great restaurants, quaint villages, mega-yachts, vibrant nightlife, and chic boutiques complement the sun-kissed seaside experience in Europe.

Galápagos and Easter Island

Easily marked as two islands unlike any other, the Galápagos and Easter Islands are each their own. Situated 600 miles off the coast of mainland Ecuador, straddling the Equator, The Galápagos is where Charles Darwin developed his theory of evolution. Each of the 14 islands of the archipelago is home to its unique species of birds, plants, and animals, unlike any other place in the world. Giant tortoises, fur seals, sally lightfoot crabs, marine iguanas, and blue-footed boobies are just a select few the wide variety of wildlife that calls this group of islands home. We think the Galápagos are best explored from a small adventure cruise ship. One of the most remote and uninhabited locations in the world, Easter Island is famed for its mysterious monolithic figures known as moai. A UNESCO World Heritage site, much of the island is protected within Rapa Nui National Park. Easter Island offers plentiful opportunities to explore by bike, explore dormant volcanoes, or take guided hiking expeditions. Whether you are interested in visiting archeological sites, going scuba diving, or trying some of the local cuisine, Easter Island leaves much to be uncovered. This is a great extension to a Chile or Peruvian itinerary.
