Hosted Quail Hunt at Rio Piedra Plantation in February 2025

There are four guns available for a hosted quail hunt in southern Georgia. For the last five years, Mike Fitzgerald, president of Frontiers, has hosted a group of clients at Rio Piedra Plantation. On February 2-5, 2025, Mike will be hosting a hunt at Rio Piedra once again, this is a 3-night/2-day package. Rio Piedra is lovely and is located near Camilla, GA. It's an Orvis Endorsed Lodge and has won "Wingshooting Lodge of the Year" multiple times. In terms of size, quality, and value, we feel that it's tough to beat Rio Piedra in the Quail Belt.

We have booked a 3-night/2-day shooting package; arriving Sunday afternoon, Feb. 2; returning after breakfast on the 5th - shooting two full days February 3rd & 4th. The package price based on single occupancy accommodations and shared guide is $4951.80, including 8% tax. Included in rate: lodging, fine dining/wine selection, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, personal guide per two hunters, jeep, dogs, and a full day 12 bird "privilege" (total per day - AM & PM). The 12-bird privilege is not a "limit" but simply the number of birds included in your base rate.

Not included: pro shop purchases, license, ammunition purchases, all bird cleaning, soft sided coolers for bird transport, extra birds @ $10.00 each, and suggested gratuities. You can access the lodge by flying commercially to Albany, GA via Atlanta, Tallahassee, FL is also another option. We can arrange airport shuttles from either Tallahassee (90-minutes away) or Albany (40-minutes away) for an extra charge. Some clients rent a car and drive from Atlanta. If flying privately, the Camilla Airport is a short drive away from the lodge.
